China Biotechnology

China Biotechnology （Start in the year of 1976） is the journal of Chinese Society of Biotechnology (CSBT), sponsored by National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences in partnership with China National Center for Biotechnology Development (CNCBD) and Chinese Society of Biotechnology (CSBT). The journal is covered by the American Chemical Abstracts（CA）, Chinese Science Citation Database（CSCD）, Chinese Science and Technology Paper Citation Database（CSTPCD）, etc.

China Biotechnology is a monthly journal, which publishes peer-reviewed research articles, reviews, techniques and methods papers in the scope of biological, biomedical, agricultural and environmental sciences. It reflects the national research development of biotechnology, publishes new advances and achievements in technology/methodology of relevance to the all fields of biotechnology, promotes the industrialization of biotechnology in China.

The core areas seeking research papers include but not limited to: molecular engineering of nucleic acids and proteins; enzyme engineering technology; new technologies and applications of synthetic biology; omics and metabolic engineering; gene and cell therapy; regenerative medicine (stem cells, tissue engineering, biomaterials); analytical biotechnology (nano biotechnology, sensors, biological detection technology); bioinformatics; agricultural biotechnology; marine biotechnology; environmental biotechnology, etc. The development strategy and status of bio-industry, patent analysis are also the coverage of this journal.
