Abstract The research and application of mesenchymal stem cells is seriously restricted by their natural resources shortage. By use of self-designed mesenchymal stem cell filter separator, human amniotic mesenchymal stem cells are separated, collected, 3D cultured and proliferated. The results are demonstrated that the cell morphology and growth tendency are excellent and that the human amniotic mesenchymal stem cells could be induced into islet-like tissues. The mesenchymal stem cell filter separator can massively separated and collected high quality mesenchymal stem cells, which is useful for the construction of mesenchymal stem cell banks in order to promote the research and application of mesenchymal stem cells.
