The Progress in Research on Avirulence Gene of the Rice Blast Fungus |
Abstract It is widely believed that the interaction between rice and rice blast fungus can be interpreted by the gene-for-gene hypothesis. The progress of research on avirulence genes of the pathogens of rice blast (Magnaporthe oryzae) was summarized in this article, including the interaction characteristics of Magnaporthe oryzae with rice resistance genes, molecular marker and mapping, and cloned avirulence genes.
