Abstract

Alexa Fluor is a derivative of rhodamine or coumarin. As an organic fluorescent dye, Alexa Fluor has some obvious advantages such as narrow excitation spectrum, wide emission spectrum, high quantum yield, good light stability and less temperature and pH impact. Recently, though Alexa Fluor dye gets a wide range of applications in the field of cytology and molecular biology research, there are few articles about Fluor Alexa dyes. elaborate Alexa Fluor's application and make prospects for its development in cytology and molecular biology science based on the characteristics are elaborated.
